Feguš String Quartet started their education path at Maribor Music Conservatory, after which their studies continued at State Conservatory of Carinthia in Klagenfurt (Austria).

In year 2001 they were accepted at prestigious private school Scuola di Musica di Fiesola (Florence, Italy) to study chamber music under mentorship of:
Milan Skampa (Smetana Quartet)
Piero Farulli (Quartetto Italiano)
Andrea Nanonni (Nuovo Quartetto).

They were honored by recieving a scholarship by Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.

Longing for additional excellence has inspired the ensemble to enroll in master studies of chamber music at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz under the mentorship of Stephan Görner (Carmina Quartet)

They participated at numerous international masters classes held by members of world-known string quartets, such as:
